Description

As the grandson and son of founding settlers of a thriving planet on the Imperial rim Gellibrand Obsidian stood to inherit billions, but his heritage also meant he had a manipulative mother with crazy political schemes. To avoid these he turns his back on the fortune to join the sector infantry as a private, only to be shot down over the jungle of another planet while on what everyone thought would be a routine mission. He then has to lead his platoon on a fightback against a deadly group of mercenaries known as The Destroyers, all while exploring the dark secrets behind the murder of Arvind Olsen – a murder of which he is accused – and the beautiful sex worker known as Athena
